UI/UX & Product Designer with 4+ years shipping intuitive digital products across fintech, logistics, ed-tech, and enterprise. I turn user research and design systems into interfaces that perform. Currently levelling up into ⚡ Full-Stack Dev
I'm Joshua Manasoko Kolo — a UI/UX and Product Designer with 4+ years delivering measurable digital products across startups, agencies, and remote freelance engagements. Proven results: 30% uplift in user engagement, 62% interface engagement increase, 15% reduction in support queries.
My background in Electrical & Information Engineering gives me a rare edge — I bridge the gap between design and engineering, reading technical specs fluently and handing off to developers without ambiguity. I've shipped products in fintech, logistics, ed-tech, enterprise, Web3, and wellness — for clients in Nigeria, the UK, and beyond.

African creatives lack centralized access to funding, mentorship, and community. I designed Tasck — a platform connecting creatives to opportunities, resources, and each other — from research to a full component library and interactive prototype.
Designed a modern payroll and employee management system for WiseWage — handling salary disbursements, pension calculations, and real-time analytics with a clean, data-dense dashboard built for finance teams.
Millions of retailers struggle with manual order tracking and delayed deliveries. I designed an intuitive mobile-first OMS with real-time tracking, automated shipping integration, and a clean dashboard reducing operational errors.
PayGaps' existing dashboard buried the metrics that mattered most under generic layouts inherited from an early MVP. I led a full redesign — research, IA, and a rebuilt component system — using Claude to synthesize research notes and Visily to explore layout directions fast before committing to Figma.
Base360 needed a scalable design language and a landing page that could actually convert. I built the full design system — tokens, Figma naming conventions, and a component library — then designed and coded a hi-fi landing page with a scroll-synced interactive lead card, pricing, testimonials, and FAQ, using Relume to scaffold IA and Claude to draft and refine on-brand copy across sections.
Built under DigiCivic, Àdàbà AI helps survivors of technology-facilitated gender-based violence access legal support. I'm designing the full responsive prototype — survivor-facing and legal-team screens, a 4-stage document signing flow, an emergency support screen, and an admin lawyers directory — across multiple stakeholder-driven iteration rounds, using Relume to scaffold flows quickly and Claude to stress-test sensitive microcopy.
As Product Designer II at Tlancer, I led design from concept to an investor-ready MVP for a marketplace connecting learners with world-class tutors — course discovery, tutor onboarding, and the student learning experience, validated with early users before handoff to engineering.
A platform connecting gamers worldwide to play, earn, and give — turning playtime into a shared payout between the player and a charity of their choice.
Beyond the screen — I design and engineer immersive lighting experiences for live concerts, productions, and events. Technical Lead and Light Designer at The House of Metro, Abuja (2023–2025).
Joshua delivered superbly on the job. He needed little supervision, communication was seamless, and delivery was excellent. I look forward to working with him again.
Joshua brings a thoughtful, user-centred approach to design. His ability to translate complex requirements into clean, intuitive interfaces made a real impact on the final product.
Very responsive and accommodating. Joshua understood the requirements quickly and delivered quality work with great attention to detail.
